Signing Up

Skipcart is a technology platform app that connects drivers and deliveries.           

As a driver, you use your own vehicle to pick up deliveries and deliver them to end destinations in your city. You're paid a fare for each completed trip.                         

Signing up to drive with Skipcart is easy. You'll get started by sharing some info about yourself on the Skipcart platform.

What we need from you:             

• Name 

• Email: (A valid email)

• Phone number

• Select a state and a metro

• Submit your background check                

You will then receive an email and text message with the next steps.       

Document requirements             

You must pass a background check before you can accept delivery requests using the Skipcart app. At a minimum, a new background check report is required annually (in some cities, more frequently).        

You may also be enrolled in a new offense notification program, intended to proactively notify Skipcart when there has been a relevant change in your criminal history.                         

In the United States, background checks are performed by Yardstik, Skipcart's third-party background check provider. The background check does not include a credit check.                   

Your consent is required before we can initiate a background check in connection with your request to partner with Skipcart. Where permitted, your consent will allow Skipcart to request additional background checks during the term of your relationship with Skipcart. 

Background checks usually take 3-5 business days to complete but can take longer depending on a number of factors such as county courthouse processes.   

Please note that while you may have received notice of your completed report from Yardstik, Skipcart may require additional time to review the results.      

Driver Requirements     

•  Be 21 years of age
•  Have a reliable vehicle
• Have a smart phone with at least these versions of software

  • iPhone iOS software 9.0 or newer

  •  Android 7.0 or newer

• A valid U.S. Driver's License and auto insurance

• A thorough background check is required
• Have the ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• A valid Social Security Number (SSN)

Once all of your information has been processed and you have passed the background check, you can begin driving using the Skipcart app.
