Occupational accident insurance provides medical expenses and disability benefits for covered injuries when drivers on the Skipcart platform are either online or are completing deliveries on the platform.

Occupational Accident Benefits
Medical Expenses
Accident medical expense benefits up to a maximum benefit amount of $1,000,000.
Disability Payments
California Drivers
Temporary Total Disability payments equal to 66.66% of the Driver’s average weekly earnings, subject to minimum and maximum limits set by California’s Division of Workers’ Compensation.
Drivers in all other states
Temporary Total Disability payments equal 70% of the Driver’s average weekly earnings, up to a maximum weekly benefit of $500.
Death Benefits
For the benefit of spouses, children, or other dependents of Drivers, occupational accident insurance provides death benefits as a result of a covered accident.

No, drivers on the Skipcart platform are eligible for occupational accident insurance coverage while they are using the Skipcart app and are online or completing a delivery.
Do I need to pay for occupational accident insurance?
No, you do not need to pay for this occupational accident insurance coverage.
Does occupational accident insurance cover damage to my vehicle?
No. Occupational accident insurance coverage only applies to medical expenses and lost income resulting from injuries suffered while the Driver is using the Skipcart app and completing a delivery.
When should I report a claim?
You may be eligible for coverage if an accident or injury occurs while you are logged into the Skipcart app during the following:
- Waiting for a delivery request
- Picking up goods for deliveries
How do I report a claim?
If you are injured as the result of an auto accident, report the accident through the Skipcart app, or fill out and submit a Claims Form. If your injury resulted from any other incident, please contact Skipcart Support.

I was logged into another app at the time of the accident. Am I still eligible for coverage?
You may be eligible for coverage under the occupational accident insurance policy if you are available to accept requests on different platforms at the same time, so long as you are logged into the Skipcart app.
However, you are not eligible for occupational accident insurance benefits if you are online on the Skipcart app and have accepted a request from another company’s platform.
